CMWs Formative Research

DKT Pakistan has established “Dhanak Clinics” for 110 community midwives in 7 districts of KPK and AHKRC was tasked with the formative research to study the uptake of android-based inventory and client systems. The goal was to improve the business model and operational efficiency of the CMWs and to allow DKT Pakistan to monitor commodity movements and prevent stock outs in remote clinics in KPK.

AHKRC worked closely with 110 CMWs through 2 tier capacity building and mentorship trainings on a user friendly android-based inventory system, reporting and identification of efficiency gaps in client services. This information was transferred in real time to the DKT monitoring Dashboard and was instrumental in assisting DKT management to make timely decisions.
