Dr. Ayesha Khan
Dr. Ayesha Khan is a US trained public health and Infectious Disease specialist working on issues of urban poverty, women’s health and economic empowerment and social development in low income urban communities in Pakistan.
As CEO of AHKRC, an Urban Poverty and Research center in Rawalpindi, Pakistan she works closely with communities, government, donors, civil society organizations, and the private sector to implement low cost community-based and sustainable models in urban settings.
Ms. Sumbal Bashir
Sumbal’s is a business advisor with an expertise in social entrepreneurship.
She is a Fulbright Scholar and has 3+ years of business development experience with technology startups and accelerators. She also volunteers regularly with grassroots initiatives supporting women empowerment and youth mobilization through education and entrepreneurship.
At AHKRC, Sumbal is leading the implementation of a library and learning center for young girls and children. She also works on business models for sustainability of projects in Dhok Hassu.
Ms. Aiman Saleemi
Master degree in Public Health. Her thesis project was on "Depression among Breast Cancer Patients receiving Chemotherapy". She is a hard worker, enthusiastic and motivated team player with excellent communication, interpersonal and networking skills.
Mr. Ibtisam Sajjad
Hassan is a psychologist by profession. He has 5 years of experience in providing counseling services, working with adolescents on Emotional and Reproductive health issues in communities. He is also a trainer, who has experience of training community, students and professionals.
Hassan is working with AHKRC to develop a mental health clinic in Dhok Hassu. He is also working closely with Dhok Hassu staff and community members to help them enhance their communication and stress management skills. He is also engaged developing and delivering trainings as and when needed.
Asmita is a Research Associate.
She is good at data analysis. Her thesis project was on women employment and its relation to child socialization. She has one year experience in data analysis and field monitoring in development sector.
Being a research associate, she has contributed in Base line survey in Dhoke Hassu and also participated in enumerator’s training as Co facilitator. She has responsibility to ensure the daily and weekly Summary reports to concerned staff. She is responsible for quality assurance and accuracy of field data. She is Positive, motivated and ambitious and enthusiastic to learn new things.
Sajida Naseer is joined as Project Coordinator AHKRC from 1st November 2017. She is one of the experienced and qualified staff members and having vast interaction with community from last 10 years. She is able to prepare concept notes, proposals, event organization, train staff and community, and social mobilization of community females. She has been engaged with several surveys and research studies with different organizations like USAID, AKF(P), RDS and Taraqee Foundation. She also worked on managerial positions and able to manage the project activities as a team player.
She has the responsibility of providing support to staff based in field office of AHKRC and lead them to achieve the objectives of the project. She has to troubleshoot the day to day matter related to project and boost the morale of staff to work hard.
Summera is an Accounts, Finance & Audit professional.
She has 3.5 years of audit experience from Deloitte and 4 years of professional experience as a HOD in corporate sector in taxation, accounts, finance, & billing.
She is responsible for devising policies, ensuring their compliance, management of funds & budgets, preparation of financial reports and various analysis for long term financial sustainability of organization.
Obaid Ur Rehman
Young motivated, having good communication and interpersonal skills. He is positive, motivated and hard-working person who is keen to learn and contribute more.
Muhadisa is a Research Scholar and a Human Resource Professional.
She is best known for providing HR solutions and designing core HR practices. She is a recent post-graduate with state of the art knowledge of Qualitative Research and Human Resource Management
She has the responsibility of strategic and operational implementation of HR practices and provide assistance for conducive work environment.
