A private TV channel is willing to give free air time to show 150 sec documentaries of innovative community level initiatives. This would be a Public Service message and each selected documentary would be shown on all the news bulletin for one day. Then it would be placed on u tube through their and our (Akhter Hameed Khan Resource Centre's) web managers.
This course on Pakistan’s development brings together Harvard Summer School students and Pakistani activists, advocates and scholars who represent an emerging and vibrant civil society. Video conferencing technology connects two sites, enabling real-time interactions with Islamabad-based implementers of solutions to inequalities and injustices, and with expert conservators. Through conversations with practitioners on the ground, students gain understandings of histories and contexts that embed a vital and intrinsically human development story.
