AHKRC is working in low income urban communities to improve the health of women, girls and children by increasing awareness, access and services for childhood immunization, family planning, maternal health, safe water and sanitation.  Our focus is enabling local communities and households to make informed choices for family planning, skilled birth attendance, reducing violence against women, and promoting sound and affordable nutritional solutions.

Through local women and households, AHKRC is testing out different intervention models of behavioral change and public-private engagement to enhance health and social development outcomes. Using research we are exploring how awareness, collective action and public sector responsiveness can be channeled to improve health systems and services that are quality, affordable and available to low income urban communities

We work from Monday till Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
